It includes the parliamentary committees established by the Parliament of India. ==Parliamentary committees== Considering the volume of legislation to be handled by the Parliament, committees have been established to transact a good deal of the legislation. They also monitor the functioning of the executive. Parliamentary Committees are of two kinds - Standing Committees and ad hoc Committees. The former are elected or appointed periodically and they work on a continuous basis.
